We meet on our private parking place on side of the mondego, at the entrance of the village of Torres do Mondego. Torres do Mondego is the last village before Coimbra if you fillow the river along the old route from Coimbra to Penacova (N110).

How to get there from Lisbon or Porto:
-Take exit Coimbra-Sul
-Follow in the direction of Coimbra-Centro
-Follow direction of N17 (Estrada da beira)
-Cross the Ponte Rainha Sta. Isabel - bridge and turn right
-At the roundabout before the bridges of Portela, follow the upstream river
-Follow 1km on the N110 to Penacova.
-Meeting-place at the gate that gives entrance to the Parking-place next to the river in Torres do Mondego.

Meeting at 10.30 (week) or 11.00 (weekend)
Meeting-place at our startingplace, left side of the river, at the dam of Carvoeira.

-IP3 - second exit of Penacova
-follow the direction of the river Mondego
-Cross the bridge over the mondego and turn right to "Carvoeira"
-1st access next to the campsite (park your car there and follow 350 m downstream).
